Response from The Traylor Law Firm:
🙂 Thanks for coming to court. I never take that for granted.
I won a jury trial in Carrollton today on a speeding. Client was 23 years old driving a Dodge Hemi Challenger 106 mph on the George Bush Tollway (on an occupational driver's license.) I made a big deal about the officer not bringing in dashcam video but the real goal was to distract the prosecutor long enough to get a directed verdict. The judge went out for about 15 minutes to review the tape and confer with the other judge before coming back and granting my motion. The jury was at first confused and then pissed. I'll take tough judges who are fair over soft judges who aren't any day!

In the suburbs, being a criminal defense attorney is mostly about disposing of Class C misdemeanors. Though many offenses occur in the suburbs, and investigations of crime scenes have to take place out here, felonies and Class A and B misdemeanors are fought at the county courthouses.

How to Handle Carrollton Jail Release
The quickest way to get somebody out is to post cash bonds directly with the jail. The Carrollton Jail is located at 2001 E. Jackson Rd, Carrollton, TX 75006. Cash bonds may be paid in full at the bond desk at the Carrollton Jail to secure a jail release. However, this is also the most expensive way as you have to have the full cash amount of the bonds up front. For those who do not have the full amount, bail bonds companies can assist with your Carrollton Jail release. As with anything, it is wise to check reviews before making your decision on a bond company for Carrollton Jail Release.
The bond company will only charge a portion of the bond as their fee. For larger bonds, that fee is usually 10%. For smaller bonds it is a fixed rate. For instance, a $500 bond should cost about $150. This fee is called a premium. Unlike a cash bond, this fee is non-refundable. However, if your family member or loved one does not make all their court dates, the bond company will seek to recover more money from the cosigner or the person who signed for the bond.
