Carrollton Traffic Tickets
Carrollton is a fairly large city north of Dallas and just north of Farmer’s Branch which covers the corners of three counties, Dallas, Denton and Collin. But if you get stopped by a Carrollton Police Officer, your tickets will go to only one place; the Carrollton Municipal Court. Carrollton is not the best place in the area to get tickets. They stay on top of their paperwork, they don’t dismiss cases as part of plea bargains and they don’t reduce fines much at all.
For deferred adjudications, they require payment up front because they don’t want to schedule show cause hearings. If you get a ticket in Carrollton, start saving your money. Carrollton schedules some of its dockets super early and they close before noon on Friday. If you don’t handle your Carrollton Traffic Tickets, there’s a good chance you’ll see the inside of their jail. We can help keep that from happening.

Response from The Traylor Law Firm:
🙂 Thanks for coming to court. I never take that for granted.
I won a jury trial in Carrollton today on a speeding. Client was 23 years old driving a Dodge Hemi Challenger 106 mph on the George Bush Tollway (on an occupational driver's license.) I made a big deal about the officer not bringing in dashcam video but the real goal was to distract the prosecutor long enough to get a directed verdict. The judge went out for about 15 minutes to review the tape and confer with the other judge before coming back and granting my motion. The jury was at first confused and then pissed. I'll take tough judges who are fair over soft judges who aren't any day!
Two out of three cases dismissed in Carrollton today. Dismissals are rare here.

Paid City of Carrollton Municipal Court deferred fees for our clients to get their traffic ticket cases dismissed at the end of their deferreds. In the suburbs, being a criminal defense attorney is mostly about disposing of Class C misdemeanors. Though many offenses occur in the suburbs, and investigations of crime scenes have to take place out here, felonies and Class A and B misdemeanors are fought at the county courthouses.
